Tall, spindly, straight-stemmed almost hairless annual or short-lived perennial herb up to 1.8 m tall, with small pale purple flowers produced on a many-branched flower stalk. An amazing bee magnet in autumn. Seed originally given to Richard from a hobby grower in the US.
