Small coastal tree that pretty much grows thru out NZ now, the red flowers like other pittosporum has a lovely scent more noticeable in the evening, great as a hedging tree or stand alone. Karo has a thick leaf similar to pohutukawa with white underside. Grows to 5 m, very frost hardy.
